South African Safari

Ashley and I celebrated our five years of marriage by going on a safari in South Africa.  Here is a sample of the 3,000+ pictures we took.

We spent one night (Saturday) at the Zulu Nyala Country Manor outside Johannesburg before flying to our safari location.

We enjoyed a nice meal Saturday night at Wombles Steakhouse in Johannesburg.

We stayed three nights in the below "tent".  Ashley did not particularly like it as the wind created lots of strange sounds and it was a bit cold.

Warthog

Cheetah.  The only animals we wanted to see but did not were a leopard and hyena.

It was winter in South Africa.  It was chilly in the mornings and evenings.
