Christmas 2012
We spent the last few days of our Christmas vacation at Lake Lure, which is in mountains in western North Carolina. Lure is approximately one hour (on very curvy and hilly roads) from Asheville. Grandi and Gigi were anxious to spend more time with Colby before he returned home so Ashley and I left him with them and we ventured off to the Biltmore estate, the fabulous home of the Vanderbilt's, which was nicely decorated for Christmas. Here are a few pictures of what we saw.

Oh how beautiful! I loved visiting the Biltmore at Christmas many years ago. The decorations are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I also find that the best way to promote bonding between my kids and the grandparents is to leave them alone together. It is a win-win for everyone! Happy New Year!
