Hurricane Sandy

Below is a news clipping on the storm. Colby probably won't believe us in 10 years or so when we explain that we lived through this but we are doing just that. Our house was a little cold when we awoke this morning and Ashley will shower at her office in order to have hot water. The trains are not yet running so Brian remains in CT.

From the Wall Street Journal:

Megastorm Sandy's march of destruction claimed at least 43 lives and left more than eight million people without electricity by late Tuesday, in one of the largest storms ever to strike the East Coast.

Diminished but still dangerous, the storm churned across Pennsylvania on Tuesday in an arc toward Canada. In New York, financial markets were expected to resume trading Wednesday, though big chunks of the city are without electricity and its vast network of subways remains idled by historic flooding.
