Cameras in Delivery Rooms

This NY Times article is an interesting read and conversation point.  The hospital we plan to deliver at has already informed us that cameras are welcome but that no video taking is allowed. 

Bed time

The nursery is almost complete.  It will have a jungle theme.  The crib was made in Ashley's hometown of Hickory, NC and was a gift from her grandfather.  Ashley and I found the pictures while vacationing in Portland, ME last summer. 

Waiting through the snow

While we are awaiting the birth day we've watched lots of snow fall on Westport.  Fifteen inches were received Thursday.  A total of 42 inches have fallen during the month of January, which sets a local record.

Baby Birthing Class

This is the introductory post to our family blog.  We will strive to periodically update you with narrative, pictures and video.  Here is Ashley soon before we began an all-day baby birthing class at the hospital.
