Winter vacation on Turks and Caicos

We had a great time.  We rode a catamaran, visited Iguana Island where we saw, yes, many iguanas.  We swam a lot!  We celebrated Elmo's birthday and ate a piece of his cake.  We had a fun breakfast with Sesame Street.  Mommy and Daddy lost a dance competition!  But most of all we enjoyed spending time with each other!!

Colby's 5th Birthday Party

The party was at Earthplace, the nature center in our town.  Everyone loved the Dirt Cake that Mommy (and Miss Elizabeth) made.  Several of the guest Mom's in attendance said "that seems like a lot of work!".  Yes, it was, but well worth it.  Before the cake, Colby and his friends got to see and touch a rabbit, corn snake, hedgehog, lizard and a turtle.  They then made their own slime and enjoyed a science experiment where they mixed vinegar and baking powder and watched the resultant gas inflate a balloon affixed to the top of the bottle that contained the mixture.
