Getting ready for Halloween

Someone is HAPPY!  

Boys weekend

Mommy and her friend Polly spent the weekend in Newport, Rhode Island.  The hotel and wine festival tickets were a Christmas present from Daddy.  

This meant Daddy and his boys were alone for the weekend.  We went to sleep early Friday night.  Colby wore new pajamas.

Woke early Saturday and headed to Chips for a pancake breakfast.  

We then went to the animal petting zoo at Silverman's Farm.  Followed by swimming lessons for Colby indoor at the high school pool.  Daddy mowed the grass late that afternoon and then it was another early trip to bed after dinner. Daniel woke us early Sunday morning and he was eager to get out of his crib.  It won't be long until he is crawling out!!!

We attended church and then came home and made a frog pumpkin thanks to the decorations sent by Grandma.  

We played with neighbor Spencer on our swing set, cheered for neighbor Kyle at his soccer game and then enjoyed a dinner of grilled cheese, apple slices and carrots.  Mommy came home just as we were finishing and accepted a perfect handoff from quarterback Daddy!   A very nice weekend for all!!!

Miss Elizabeth was trying to teach Daniel some baby action rhymes from a new library book but he absolutely insisted on sitting on the book! She thinks he is part cat!

Napa Valley

Ashley and I spent a nice Labor Day Weekend in Napa Valley.  We "won" the trip at a Junior League sponsored silent auction.
