When Brian was a baby one of his favorite stuffed animals was Zip the monkey. Brian's mother thought it would be nice if Colby also had a Zip. While "Zip" no longer officially exists she was able to find a very close replica. Once we figure out how to scan a photo at home, and find the time to do so, we will post Brian's picture with Zip. Until then, everyone will have to enjoy Colby with his Zip the monkey.
Colby received a belated Christmas present this week. It was a hand-knit stocking from his Aunt Margaret. Colby now understands that what Mommy and Daddy mean when we say something is his. He lights up the room with a smile and enjoys the kindness of those who give him gifts.

Mommy is back!!
Ashley was in Boulder Colorado for business last week. She arranged for wonderful care of Colby by our friend Mrs. Celia. Colby seemed really happy to have someone with a big heart and tender hands and heart with him.
Ashley arrived home late Friday evening, after enduring several hours of snow delay in the Chicago airport, and awoke Saturday morning to a big smile from Colby.
She missed our Friday evening Covenant group meeting but Lorraine and Dave sent Brian home with a platter including some Puerto Rican pork so all was good on Saturday.
We received approximately five inches of snow overnight so Mommy, Daddy and Colby stayed at home and enjoyed each other's company.

Mr. Puller Upper
This was a present from GiGi.
This race car was a Christmas present from Colby's Great Grandfather. We haven't tried out running it with the battery turned on yet.
Colby has learned how to pull himself up. Here he is in his playpen.
Colby now enjoys exploring cabinets and drawers.
All this playing and exploring tires Colby out.
