What a week!

Colby and his parents are having quite a week. First an earthquake occurred. Daddy felt it in his Manhattan office while Colby and Mommy also felt it in New Haven. Then, today, we find ourselves inside awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Irene. This article sums things up pretty well, and yes, Daddy also experienced the blackout.

The one good event of the week occurred yesterday when Colby received his six months doctors check-up. Here is a picture of Ashley comforting him on the exam table. Pictures of his first tasting of spoon fed food will follow soon!

Hands and feet

Colby has begun to hold his bottle in his own hands. He only needs our help in tipping it up to get the last bit of milk.

He is also pulling his feet towards his mouth.

Yesterday and Today

Yesterday ended with a nice picture of Colby sleeping. He began to favor sleeping on his side about one week ago.

Today began with me seeing a doe and her two fawns walking across the street.

One stopped and posed for a picture.

Today ended with Colby falling asleep on my shoulder.

Summer Vacation

We spent a terrific week on Edisto Island, SC with Ashley's family.  We also visited Calabash.
